A FEW HIGHLIGHTS OF THE PAST YEAR

Surprise!!  Surprise!!  I'm back!!  It's been almost a year and a half since my last entry.  Mom, Dad, Grandma and Sarah, I'm doing this for you.  :)

A lot has happened over the past year.  So here's a little recap...

On Jan.5, 2011 our little Laura was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes.  She was a brave girl and a little trooper from day one.  She loved her stay in the hospital and still wishes for a reason to return... as a patient!  (The rest of us hope that never happens!!)  :)  To date she is doing fantastic and is a hero and example to her family!  Her doctor, who we love and refer to as "Dr. Dumbledore" (picture of doctor hopefully soon to come), has said that she'll be able to get a pump this summer!!! Yeah!!

The day after Father's Day 2011 Katelyn and Laura became the proud owners of two adorable baby bunnies!  Laura named her bunny Petunia. Katelyn named her's Gracey.  (Due to circumstances that will be explained later, that name has been changed to Gray, or as Tim prefers, Gray Balls!)

In July of 2011 our family was able to fly out to Virginia and visit Grandma and Grandpa Christoffersen!  It was an amazing trip!  We had so much fun!!  The kids can't seem to decide which is more fun... Disneyland our visiting Grandma and Grandpa in VA.  :)

In Aug 2011 we bought a boat!  We have had so much fun out on the water!  In Sept. we took a trip down to Lake Powell and spent three days water skiing, knee boarding, and tubing!!  We can't wait for summer to come this year!  (If I can just get over my fear of deep and murky water!)

For Christmas this year Tim and I surprised the kids with a trip to Disneyland!!  Thomas was finally able to go on all the rides!  Of course that didn't mean he enjoyed all those rides... the picture below shows all of us riding Space Mountain, notice Thomas is no where to be seen... that's because he has buried himself in my lap!! :)  It was a fun trip, and as always, as soon as we leave we want to go back!!
