I know what you're all thinking... Where was Katelyn? No she wasn't on vacation, no she wasn't in the hospital... Katelyn was at a friend's house. Yes, that's right a friend's house! Let me explain... When picking Katelyn up from school a few days ago, one of her friends asked if Katelyn could come over to her house to play for a few hours. I said that would be fine and Katelyn left with her friend. Usually we have friends come to our house, that way Laura can play too. (Laura loves to play with Katelyn's friends, and Katelyn is so sweet with Laura let's her play.) I guess that's what Laura thought was going to happen, because she was just fine until Katelyn climbed into her friend's car. That's when Laura broke down and started crying, "I want Katelyn!" I managed to get her into our car. However once in the car it took awhile to calm her down. I sat there holding her trying to think of something that would be fun for her to do, and that's when it hit me. A party! Laura was all over that idea! We went to the store and she picked out a little cake from the bakery and asked to have her and Katelyn's name written on the cake. Then we had to get some balloons. She asked if she could pick out presents, and I told her maybe next time! (Ha! Ha!) We went home, blew up balloons, and Laura decorated, and put candles on the cake! She had so much fun, and it passed the time until Katelyn came home. The look on Katelyn's face when she found out that Laura had thrown her a 'welcome home' party.... it was priceless! We all had a fun time... (Thomas loved the cake! He's just practicing for his 1st birthday!)

Oh, you are such a nice mom. Your girls remind me so much of us when we were little. The cute little sensitive things.:)
